Caring for our China
Due to the nature of vintage items there may be signs of wear, such as to gilt, but there will be NO cracks to the china
Due to the delicate nature of our china, we will undertake any washing up after the items have been collected. It is your responsibility to ensure that any one helping at your event, whether voluntary or employed for the event, including caterers, the venue etc, are aware that the items should not be washed and specifically no abrasives should be used at any time on the china.
If you need to wash the china, for example, if you need to re-use it at the same event, it must be hand washed with a soft cloth – it must NOT be put in a dishwasher, and abrasive cloths must NOT be used.
The china is NOT microwave safe and must not be used in one.
In preparation for collection, please remove any food and liquid from the china before repacking the items in the same manner as when they were delivered. A list of items will be provided for you to use as a checklist.
We accept no responsibility in the event of any injury, accident or damage caused by the use of or the presence of the hired items, or the packaging they were supplied in, whilst they are hired to you. This includes both the delivery and collection days.
